General Finishes Glaze Effects

General Finishes Glaze Effects are translucent water based colors used to create decorative finishes.

Glaze effects will add depth to a variety of surfaces when properly applied over paints and stains. This glaze is great for use on cabinets, trim, doors, and furniture. It's not recommended for use over white colors.

If the glaze starts to dry too fast, you can use a small amount of General Finishes Extender to slow the dry time. Extender can also help with leveling, and reducing brush strokes.

It is strongly suggested to use a topcoat over the glaze. 2 to 3 coats of GF High Performance Topcoat is recommended. 

Clear can be tinted with universal colorants, or can be mixed with GF Milk Paint.
